Cory Howard tries to reimagine the role of the storyteller. Centering the audience in the narrative and pushing the form of storytelling beyond its typical constructs, Cory hopes to upend expectations to the point where anticipation gives way to participation and engagement leads to a brand new collective experience never before seen and never to happen again. Cory has performed at the National Storytelling Festival, is a Moth Story Slam Grand Slam winner and has an M.A. in Storytelling and Communication from East Tennessee State University where his original show The Campfireball was awarded ‘Outstanding Capstone Project’.
