Announcing the arrival of the first Royal Improv Festival: A Queen City Comedy Experience in Uptown Charlotte, NC July 24-27.
This new offering is a part of The Queen City Comedy Experience, Charlotte's premier celebration of all-things comedy but will showcase the art form of improv. Like previous years - we'll have workshops, jams and after parties as well.

The Royal Improv Festival by Queen City Comedy is one-of-a-kind event will highlight local and national improv acts from across the globe. We'll be showcasing great TALENT, celebrating QUALITY work, building on our great COMMUNITY of performers, and making AWESOME comedy for everyone! There will be a select group of 20 acts chosen to perform in 2025.
Submission fee is $30. Early bird submission fee until April 8 is $20. Deadline for submission is April 20. Like we did in 2024, the review process for #Royal25 submissions includes third-party auditors from outside the Carolinas, ensuring an unbiased evaluation. This transparency will ensure the best quality shows.
This is the payment portion of your submission. You will receive a confirmation email with a Google Form link that needs to be completed as well that includes the video upload. Incomplete submissions will not be reviewed.

Typical improv slots will be 20 minutes
